Drawing is my passion, and solving problems through design is my ambition. It started with comics, but became something much more refined as I earned my BFA in Design from the University of Texas at Austin. And when my desire to learn wasn’t sated, I moved my beautiful wife 1,700 miles away to New York City to complete my MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts where I studied under comic legend Klaus Janson, famed designer Mirko Illic, and illustration master Marshall Arisman.

I’m also an amatuer blacksmith, martial artist, Eagle Scout, wishful thinking brewer, and crossfit athlete.
