We're super excited to announce our redesigned Collections! This is particularly awesome for artists, curators and members. Your Collections now appear on your Profile homepage with added features, cleaner feel and smoother functionality. Here's how it'll help ya...

Artists : Categorize your work with greater ease. Provide context for collections or a series of work with a short description.

Curators : Send traffic more confidently to your top picks with a much cleaner design. Use the description as an opportunity to encourage a purchase, reiterate ongoing promo details or simply describe why you created the collection.

Members : Discover and share your favorite artwork. Consider becoming a Curator so you can earn some spending cash for all those great finds.

Yay!!! So much better!!! I just made a bunch of collections the other night and was fretting over some issues but looks like those have been fixed.

One thing: Wish that the collections that a work is in would appear on that work's individual page - maybe right over 'also available as'. Could really help sales since people could look through the collection that work is in to see other similar collected artwork.

Great improvement, thank you so much, guys! Makes it so much easier to structure artwork. Maybe a bigger, representive thumbnail for each collection would be awesome someday! :D

Works great. Just made a collection for designs best on t-shirts, to emphasize them on t-shirts, where they work well, instead of less successfully on prints.

Suggestion:
How about having the option as part of the 1st screen "Add Artwork", so we don't accidentally miss the chance to put the image into a collection.

First of all, great job on the collection pages. They will be great for curators.

But there is one problem. The collection page URL for each individual account needs to be a permanently embedded curator link.

(I'm using Azulblau's for an example)

I can already see what's going to happen. Customers will arrive at a curator's collection page via external advertising (the cookie will be placed and stay for the next 30 -60 days). Customers will browse around for a bit and then realize that this is a great collection. So they will click on the collection link at the top of the page and bookmark it. That link is not a curator link. A good curator will keep updating the inventor in their collection, to keep people coming back. Unfortunately, after 60 days, any sales which take place in the collection (coming via the bookmark) will not be credited to the curator ... so no commission. For a good curator that could amount to thousands of sales (from multiple bookmarked customers) over the the following year, with no commission.

Just a suggestion.

On second thought, making a permanent curator link would mess with the whole 30 day cookie thing, which would be even more costly to curators, so that won't work. Just ignore that last comment. That's what happens when you think out loud.

We're not able to add anything. When we want to add something, something is going wrong since the collection is empty and we can just read the three steps to do.

I'm having trouble adding my art to a collection too. I've got the collection categories, but when my art comes up in the profile, I see no way of adding it to a collection. I get these boxes that say to add to a collection but still no way to add them. Anybody who has had this same problem and found a solution, please give it to us.

When initially setting up the photo for each product, my photo is turned. It will not allow me to drop and drag to edit the photo to put it in the proper position and turning it

I love collections. They make it easier for me to automatically share / pin products. If you've got a collection with at least 120 products with a variety of great art following the same theme, I want to know! So get in touch. Search for HightonRidley :)

Love creating collections . . it's a beautiful way to categorize my gallery . . also I must say I do very much miss society6 blog actually being here on our S6 site and not an external site . . . please can you bring back the blog! . . You see there was so much more activity and comments when it was here and by clicking on "promote" the blog also appears in our S6 blog newsfeed . . . aloha . .

How does one actually get the "add to collection" feature to work? I've gone through and added with the red and green small check boxes but the products don't show up in the collection, which remains empty. A lot of people have had this problem, why is it so hard to get the answer to this? I've been on YouTube and internet but no fix for this problem. HELLLLLPPPPP... Plus that whole button switch could be improved, but maybe I am just not doing it right?!
