Dan Manciu is a free lance graphic designer and artist. In 1995, his family moved from Romania to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Shortly after, Dan received a sketchpad along with a package of pencils. Thus resulting in his ever lasting discovery, his passion, art. As the years went on he has always showed an intense interest in the creation of art in many forms. Everything from acrylic paintings to wood work. Dan has always enjoyed creating anything that is visually pleasing.

In 2001, Dan had discovered Adobe Photoshop 6 and fell in love with digital art. He spent hours soaking up as much information and learning everything he could from online tutorials. That wasn’t enough, so in 2005 he decided to enroll at the Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology. It was there when Dan took a 2 year graphic design course that expanded his knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator and started Static44. In 2007, he was employed at a local UPS Store as a Graphic Designer for two years and as a Graphic Designer and Website Template Builder at Co-op Titanium Graphics.
