This project started when I was learning photography at college and developed when I began experimenting with Photoshop, Painter and other digital paint packages.

I create the digital images by first taking photographs of angels, which I then transform in Photoshop and other digital paint packages. When I start I usually have a rough idea of what I want to achieve but I very often end up with something quite different! The journey to this end result can be frustrating, vexing, happy, sad and time-consuming but above all it is a journey for the soul and very rewarding.

On the screen the images are not physical in any way – they are composed of light and this seems the perfect medium for this subject matter.
