Hey guys! I’m Kara and I created PopCrystals, an Illustration & Design company. I enjoy working with gouache, employing vibrant, modern color palettes, and utilizing the textures of paint and paper. I create cute designs that combine whimsical, geometric, and pop-art elements. I’m inspired by dreamy color palettes, magic, fashion, and nature.

I am a huge dog-lover and have a mild corgi obsession. Though I have never owned a dog, I envision myself traveling the world with a corgi in my backpack someday. My favorite thing is completely new experiences. My least favorite thing is routine. Now off I go to feed my sourdough starter and play with gouache!
