The devil’s in the details. Or so I’ve been told. I find joy and relaxation in diving into a piece not knowing where it’s going. Each series typically starts with experimentation. I choose a medium, style, or canvas that is unique or special to me. Some of my favorite creations are the ones that come out of nowhere.

From traditional surfaces such as paper and canvas to wood, motorcycle parts, and bikes, each piece develops it’s own style throughout the process. Yes, sometimes I paint myself into a corner by not planning out the work before hand, but there’s a joy in the problem solving that occurs along the way. My current styles carry a heavy Art Deco and mechanical design, but who knows where the next piece will take me.
