Sheng is an artist and illustrator based in Adelaide, Australia. She works in a variety of materials, loving hand-drawn imperfections, organic textures, playful colors and strokes to create her signature artwork and lettering styles.

At home, her family affectionately calls her Mei Mei, meaning "little girl," a nickname that has inspired the name of her artistic space. For Sheng, the act of creating art is a meditative process that allows her to slow down and reflect deeply on her surroundings, much like she did in her younger years. This reflective practice is the essence behind "Musings of Mei Mei."
