Marissa Grondin is a Calgary based artist focusing on combining elements of esoteric energy healing and the natural world. Her work often depicts earthly plants and animals with an auric or otherworldly energy field, often utilizing spiritual symbolism lightly threaded throughout her imagery. She strives to visually bridge a gap between higher frequency energy fields and the third dimension through a representation. As a Shamanic healer trained in the art of Reike and Angelic healing modalities, it is her goal to initiate the transformative healing process of the viewer through art.

During meditation Grondin taps into the visual power of the Third Eye to gain insight into other realms of knowing. Using inner sight and innate understanding to obtain inspiration for her work, Grondin’s hybrid paintings display a dance of colourful schemes, invoking a sense that you are taking a glimpse into another dimension, and sparking your inner child’s imagination.
