Marissa Huber

I capture fleeting moments & tell stories with color and shape to record small joys. I’m inspired by the world around me, particularly my commute. I'm trying to do more small and large digital patterns to sell on Society 6.

I have always been creative, but started taking myself seriously as an artist after the birth of my son. I recently returned home to South Florida after 18 years in Indiana & Philly. I live with her son Henry “Pickles” and artist husband, Mike East.

When I am not working full time as an Occupancy Planner and commuting, I enjoy being a T-Rex with my son and painting with watercolors and oils. I'm fascinated with incorporating concepts of Minimalism into my life to eliminate excess and find more time for family and art.

You can also find me at Carve Out Time for Art, a community I co-founded to empower artists and help them prioritize art making. creative shenanigans.

Thank you for checking my work out! Marissa Huber
