Mar is a filipina artist and settler on the unceded and ancestral territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations. Otherwise known as Vancouver, British Columbia. She started dabbling in art at a very young age and has recently jumped back to her calling as an artist in recent years. She works at the intersection of imagination, self-expression, systems change, and personal growth.
