Creating art is a daily part of who I am as well as wife, mother, and doting grandmother. What I use to create art may change and have seasons for one medium or another - oil, watercolor, colored pencil, pen and ink - but the constant is to create and explore God's beautiful creation through that medium. For me, making art is the time I commune with God the most and where my relationship with Him is intensely noticeable. It's my desire to always glorify Him with the art I create with encouraging and uplifting beauty and creativity, that at times, tells a story.

I am primarily self-taught, living in the Southern California desert, with a year at Philadelphia College of Art and art classes at Antelope Valley College. My work has shown locally and I have done several commissioned pieces: Hope's Flight ~ an illustration commemorating 100 years of Women in Aviation for a local aviatrix; a portrait of Rick D. Husband, United States Airforce Colonel, astronaut and space shuttle commander of STS-107(Columbia), for the Test Flight Class of 2004 at Edwards Airforce Base, CA where it hangs in the US Test Pilot School student lounge named in memory of him; and many private portraits.
