Lacy Wilson Art

Lacy Ringo is a talented emerging artist from Quincy, her hometown in Northern California. Lacy began showing her work in 2006 at Eagle's Nest Frame Shop and Art Gallery where she demonstrated her skill in capturing the fluidity of the horse in motion and then Cafe Le Cog a local French restaurant where among her pieces shown there were silhouettes set in front of the full moon. In 2009 Lacy painted a piece which the Quincy Chamber of Commerce purchased to promote the county fair and parade.

Lacy graduated from Plumas County Charter School in 2010 where she was the ceramics and art teacher for two years. While working at the school she painted two large murals featuring a jungle scene brimming with movement and life, and sea animals playing in the ocean.

Lacy and her work have appeared in the Plumas Buzz and The Feather River Bulletin published in Plumas County. In 2012 she had a solo exhibition at Pangaea Cafe in Quincy, California. The work in this show demonstrated her love of animals and nature. Her paintings included brightly colored flowers fashioned in bold layers of acrylic paint, Celtic trees on wood, mermaids among sea life, maidens afloat swirling seas, winged angel hearts, swimming and swirling Coi fish, happy jungle animals, a series of portraits and a regal peacock accented in gold.

Lacy moved to Morro Bay in May of 2012 where she currently sketches and paints murals and paintings, paints animals and nature scenes on furniture, makes jewelry and trendy flowers clips for the hair. One of her passions is painting murals in children's rooms, bringing to life animal scenes in custom made murals tailor made to make a child's walls come to life. She also loves to paint pet portraits.
