It started as a challenge to paint something everyday and quickly became a way for Kelsea to reconnect with friends, travels, and the beauty in the quotidian. Originally trained in oil painting, Kelsea gravitated to watercolor to capture the ethereal in the everyday. Drawing inspiration from the crossroads of human-nature interactions, Kelsea’s paintings and photographs are her attempt to explore the overlooked and taken for granted in the world around us.
