I started drawing these abstract images about a year ago to relieve stress. I use gel pens on paper and draw what I feel, following the dictations of the lines and colors as I go. It is a completely organic process as I have no idea what direction I am going when I start. My graphic artist husband suggested we scan them in and offer them for sale and then we started messing around with mirroring and flipping the images and the results were amazing to me. I loved these types of ethnic mandala prints before I started drawing and I am thrilled that I can now create my own prints. Each original drawing takes around 60 hours to complete, with each line carefully drawn and colored with your average gel pen. They are a labor of love!
