Let's just start this out with a story.

Once upon a time, there was a comic book nerd named Fanboy. Fanboy worked at a small Android app development company as a graphic designer. One day, he moved into a new apartment. This new apartment was a much larger apartment than his previous dwelling space, so he needed to something to hang on his walls. Unfortunately for Fanboy, he didn't have a lot of money to spend on beautiful art or even a lot of nice frames for things that he already had. One day he decided to put his design skills to use for a personal project. He took a handful of classic Marvel comic book heroes and made them into minimalist art posters. He had no intention of publicly posting them or selling them. He just wanted some art that would reflect his passions. And something cheap too. About 1o or so posters in, his friends started encouraging him to sell them and post them on social media sites. Fanboy was hesitant at first, but eventually thought, "Why not?"
