I have been painting and building designs all my life. I sold my work to shop retailers for 10 years exhibiting in a LA Gift Show twice a year. I created a line of cards and prints which I took to the NY Stationery Show in 1990 and licensed to a British company and licensed the wholesale business to an American company. While exhibiting in New York I attended the Surtex show and fell in love with the show and the process of licensing images to manufacturers. I exhibited, as The Edith Collection, at Surtex for 15 years and 6 or 8 years in the International Licensing Show. My work was licensed as cards, flags, ceramic, throws, textiles, and rugs and many other things while working with over 75 manufacturers.

In 2005, "life happened", I took a sabbatical. That interruption silenced my ability to paint for 9 years but I found Photoshop and continued. Then as if by magic, I picked up a brush and my painting was back almost as if it had never gone.

These designs I am offering here are created from my portfolio and from new works. I am inspired by color and design and through the ever-changing face of the rustic woods and the wildlife that abounds.

I now live happily in a rustic log cabin with my husband, Hal, and a good looking cat named Tom. I am located in the Smoky Mountains with a small studio open to the woods.
