Dan is an academic artist living on the outskirts of Charlottesville, Virginia. He draws maps and plans of antiquity when he has to, chipmunks and raccoons when he gets to. He has a tiny "studio" in the corner of the craft room, but you're more likely to find him in the woods. Edelweiss started out as whimsical drawings of story ideas he has had while in the woods or in his tiny backyard.
