Cynthia Friedlob

Art inspired by my background in music and animation!

I've had a colorful career in the creative arts.

As a writer for children's television, I worked with The Muppets' JIM HENSON and Marvel's STAN LEE. I held staff positions at legendary animation studios Hanna-Barbera and Marvel, and freelanced for Disney and DIC.

My produced work has been seen on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS. My credits include iconic programs: SCOOBY DOO, THE SMURFS, THE SNORKS, THE JETSONS, THE MOONDREAMERS, and the animated FRAGGLE ROCK.

In live-action, I co-wrote the story for the special "Dog City" episode of The Jim Henson Hour television show, and the script for the Warner Bros. cult classic comedy motion picture, CLASS ACT, starring KID 'N' PLAY.

Early in my career, I was a singer and occasional songwriter, working clubs as part of a jazz trio.

I've exhibited paintings, drawings, photographs, and installations in gallery and museum shows for over 25 years. For the past several years, I've focused my work on colorful, geometric digital drawings, but I still love the old school magic of drawing with pencil or pen.
