thanks for having a browse - what you see is all my own work.

my name is eimear (irish name - pronounced 'eemur'!) and while it might seem a little unusual, i’m a geographer by training, not a photographer, or artist. that part of my life is very much self-taught.

i found my way into photography as a teenager, and discovered we ‘clicked’ instantly. at first it was disposable 35mm’s, then i moved onto a medium format 120 film that i got as a birthday present when i was around 22, and of course have made my forays into digital and smartphone technology along with the rest of the world. i'll be sharing more photographic imagery here over time.

The artwork has come later - i love the freedom of abstract drawing, and sketching too. it's all a journey, an an experiment, and i hope you find something you like within it.

‘crookedrobin’ is my way of sharing these moments, and expressing in some small way life as it passes through, and away. i hope you will find something of resonance to your own journeys, connections or memories in these prints, and that they bring some joy, fun and beauty into your space.
