Art is Emotion

Art, it isn't just a "What" a "Thing" or a "Who". It can not have just one name, color, or creed of other great Masters. Art is something that can only be felt. Even before the canvas is laid or the first bush strokes are made, the artist has already made a connection with the blank space in between the mind and the heart. This in and of itself is what directs the brush in the artists hands. This is what makes great Art. When a piece can move your emotions and makes you want to stare aimlessly into its abyss of endless emotion filled day dreams. To watch the wonder in the eyes of people as they look at different art work, then "we" as artists have done our job to bring a little light to the world. ~ Christina Dugger
