Charlatan Court is an LGBTQ+, Pagan run and owned studio focused on bringing fiction that reflects and serves its audience. Diversity of race, culture, sexuality, gender identity, religious affiliation, and ability the highest priority in our writing and design. Our second highest contending priority being timely, honest, and respectful interpretations/expressions of real world social, political, and environmental issues.

Behind every title we release is months, often years of cultural/historical research and conceptualization, aimed at respectful, reverent inclusion of cultures that inspire us! Behind each character, seeking out friends, family, and often kind and helpful strangers to help us shape believable, relatable, respectfully represented people with developed outlooks and voices.

Through fiction, we can examine and test the boons and vices of the world around us and explore potential answers to the challenges we are faced with in innovative ways. Our passion is the human experience, both in the inspiring nature of human love, compassion, and kindness, and our equal penchant for terrible greed and carnality.
