Carol Randall

'Mother nature provides the canvas. I help to make it a piece of art.' I'm a fine art photographer, historical author, statistical researcher and advocate of accessible multi-use trails, but not always in that order. My favorite subjects include the pastoral scenery and historical buildings of my hometown, Fredericton, the Capital City of New Brunswick, Canada, and its over 115km of trails that traverse both sides of the St. John River. Dogs (especially working breeds), draft horses and our backyard birds also captures the attention of my camera. As a result of Post Polio Syndrome (contracted in 1952), you can see me about the city on my little red scooter with the camera tucked in my basket. Due to the weight of large lenses, I basically use a point and shoot camera (Nikon) and enjoy manipulating them afterwards into paintings with the aid of several artistic software packages. Many of my large pieces of work can be located here, but you can also see my other tourism-related products (post cards, calendars, jigsaw puzzles, magnets, etc.) on my 'Fredericton Keepsakes' website (www.frederictonkeepsakes.com) or visit me personally on Facebook or via www.carandall.com. Have a question or need help finding the right print? Contact me and I'll be happy to help!
