I'm an Oakland based artist and illustrator, originally from northern California where I grew up in the redwood forest. Most of my work has to do with often destructive human/animal relationships, and the mutation of the natural world. I am interested in the way in which people personify and objectify animals and nature in general, and the layers of mysticism and symbolism placed upon them regardless of their true nature.
