Hi, My name is Sandra Leisure I am a florist, artist, Operations Manager of a manufacturing company, mother of 2 grown daughters and a wife to an amazing husband. My love of art and creating art is part of who I am. As a little girl age 5 or so, I would love to sit and draw, paint, sew or build things instead of playing outside. I grew up in Portland, Oregon with so much beauty and inspiration around me. Communicating that beauty artistically took many forms. At the age of 17 I was lucky to attend a high school that offered a course in floristry. For 20 years I composed arrangements, bouquets for many weddings, funerals and gift occasions. As I grew older my choice of art medium changed. I am fortunate to have learned many different art forms. Some of the most fun and difficult mediums I have learned are Batik and watercolor painting. In the past year I have dedicated myself to learning how to sketch and draw. I hope others find inspiration and beauty in my work. All art work posted come from original works created by me.
