Nurse by day, artist by night and gamer in between. New York City based artist. Nana's artwork is inspired by traditional Chinese paintings and modern abstract art. I paint with traditional Chinese techniques and tools (bamboo brushes, ground ink, watercolors). I paint fusion art fusing both Japanese sumi-e ink and Chinese ink wash techniques with a splash of westernisn. Through clean simple lines of flowing ink I aim to capture the essence of my subject.
