I live in New Zealand and much my work is inspired by it's nature. I work from my own photographs to produce digital paintings of our landscapes and plant life.

No-one in NZ is more than 120 km (75 miles) from the sea, so the sea forms a large part of both my self image and my art.

I like the work of the impressionists and their goal to capture the feel and light of nature rather than aiming to be a photograph, done in paint. Water colours are also sweet for capturing water on a summers day.

I am also inspired by my husbands homeland with it's fjords and verdant summers.
