Society6 began as a source of creative opportunity.

Before a single art print was sold there was a tribe of artists sharing, discussing and collaborating on intensely compelling work across a multitude of design disciplines. Those discussions and peer promotions became the fibers of how we as a community encourage, inspire and sometimes forcefully push each other to greater heights.

Which is why after years of ideation and hard work we're proud to bring you a new milestone in the Society6 mission to empower independent artists - The Society6 iOS App.

Thousands of uploads every day creates a unique challenge for a platform like ours and we believe the new app goes a long way in helping art makers and lovers find each other.

The Society6 iOS App allows deeper connections between friends, fans, customers and peers by infusing great design into the daily lives of all.

Core Features 

Following Feed: Quickly load and scroll through all the new work from the artists you follow in a native My Society experience.

Discovery: Hop over to the improved Discover feed to quickly see trending work across the site and in popular categories.

Notifications: Receive alerts and track engagement across new promotions, followers and comments - including for the first time ever, notifications of recent sales!

Engagement: Not only see but respond directly to your followers by commenting, promoting and following directly on your iOS device.

Promotions: Easily access the designs you promoted for viewing later and filter by product type to find your favorite artwork on the products you want (huge customer benefit!).

This is our launch feature set but we're just getting warmed up. With no shortage of opportunity to bring value to your daily lives, here are a few things we're working on.

Ultimately, everyone will find their own value in this powerful new tool. Here are some examples our team has enjoyed.

Don't Forget to Double Tap: Double tap within your Following and Discover feeds to quickly promote the new work that catches your eye. The artist will see your nod immediately. 

Notification Control: Toggle which notifications you'd like us to push to you, so you can focus on the ones that matter most. Don't want to miss an opportunity to respond to comment? Make sure they're enabled. 

Discover Through Promotions: We'll recommend new work in your Following feed based on the work promoted by artists you follow. See something interesting? Check out what else that member is promoting for thousands of works you might have missed. By far the most fun we've had exploring the app.

What Else? The power of many is greater than that of the few. Share how you've used the app to help others find more value.
