Pelican Portrait Shower Curtain

I love this curtain. We built a simple frame and stapled the curtain to it. It makes for a very large picture at a fraction of the cost you would pay for one that size. It’s on my back porch and drawing lots of attention.

I wanted a modern yet warm and homey coastal vibe in my home. I love pelicans and have hunted high and low for a tasteful way to incorporate my favorite seabird into my decor. I looked at painting and wall decor and figurines or sculptures. Then I saw this print and fell in love. It comes in so many different mediums (rugs, towels, wall art, etc) and I chose a pow-pow affect for a small guest bathroom. I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. I smile every time I walk in my guest bath. Caveat: I might suggest Society 6 offer the choice of positioning the print on either end of the shower curtain. My commode partially hides the beauty of my pelican). Guests just love the bold statement of my small bathroom!

We moved down to the Outer Banks of NC and wanted a really knock out shower curtain that was appropriate to where we've moved. It was a coin toss between the wonderful Norther Gannets of the iconic Brown Pelican... We chose the Pelican and were not disappointed! The quality of the illustration/graphic is excellent. We went with color but black and white would havre been equally as good. I highly recommend - just wish they would make some smaller width shower curtains for our custom/stall shower. I highly recommend Society6's artists!
