Katsushika Hokusai - Yoro Waterfall in Mino Province Wall Clock

I purchased three clocks. One for myself, my son, my mother. Of those three, two of them didn’t work. I returned the two that didn’t work and received one that did (my mother’s) and this clock again for myself that didn’t work. Looking at it, it’s cobbled together from cheap parts. They did promptly send a replacement. As they didn’t take it back, I ended up throwing it away. My mother kept hers for sentimental reasons. It’s a waste, classic first world issue of excess. For a company that claims it’s for artists, I would expect they cared about the environment more and about waste. It clearly doesn’t seem that way. I’m not ‘returning,’ as it will mean a potentially defective clock again and a total of two clocks going in the trash. The failure rate of the purchases is 66%. Where is the quality control? I’ll just eat the cost of the defective clock. Never buying from them again and recommend not wasting money to increase waste.
