As for my background, I have a formation in visual-effects for cinema and television at the Centre Nad in Montreal. I have also been an art teacher in a secondary school in Yaounde (Democratic Republic of Cameroun). This was a logical continuation of the social-professional insertion project I took part in as painter (L'Amalgame in Sherbrooke). At the time of this project I was also an artistic coordinator for the underwater exhibit Aquart in Thedford-Mines in August 2006. Before this I took part in numerous exhibition, solo or collective, from Sherbrooke to Montreal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire.

Themes at the foundation of my work are timeless and revolve around time, void, death, femininity and childhood. In more concrete terms, I consider creation on par with diversity: I seek to go deeper in those themes which are dear to me as much as to explore with the same fervour the possibilities of different mediums and techniques in painting and drawing. To feed them, I constantly try my hand at other domains, from travel to 3D animation. In short, I have a sincere care to draw from where my curiosity and determination take me while constantly watering the breeding ground of my creation in order to get from it the best possible harvest.

J’ai terminé une formation en effets-visuels pour le cinéma et la télévision au Centre NAD à Montréal. J'ai également été professeur de dessin dans une école secondaire à Yaoundé (en République Démocratique du Cameroun), ce qui fut la suite logique au projet d'insertion socio-professionel, L'Amalgame, à Sherbrooke cette fois-ci, auquel je participais activement en tant qu'artiste peintre. Cette dernière occupation s'est faite en parallèle à mes activités de coordonnateur artistique pour l'événement d'exposition sous-marine Aquart, qui eut lieu à Thedford-Mines en août 2006. Tout cela fut précédé par de multiple expositions, autant en tant qu'étudiant en Arts Plastiques, que seul, de Sherbrooke à Montréal en passant par Mont- Saint-Hilaire.

Finalement, les thèmes qui guident ma démarche sont intemporels et s'articulent donc autours du temps, de l'abscence, du vide, de la mort, de la transcendance, de la féminité et de l'enfance. Plus concrètement, considérant la création et la diversité sur un pied d'égalité, je cherche autant à approfondir ces thèmes qui me sont chers, qu'à explorer avec la même ferveur le champ des possibles en abordant différents médiums en peinture comme en dessin. Ainsi, pour les nourrir, je tâte constamment d'autres domaines, du voyage jusqu'à l'animation 3D. Bref, j'ai le souci très sincère de puiser là où ma curiosité et ma détermination me guident en abreuvant constamment le terreau de ma création afin d'en restituer les meilleurs fruits possibles.
