The Boy Who Carried the Big Bad Wolf
This Artwork is available for sale as a Print.
The Boy Who Carried the Big Bad Wolf was a character of mine from way back. I created him for a local vinyl toy line that didn't push through.

The Wolf took the boy hostage. He forced the innocent boy to take him to their village so he can eat all the sheep that he wanted. So Evil!

Last week, I decided to create a poster/wallpaper of his trip back home. :) Enjoy!

Postcards for Haiti
An illustration I did for the invitation to join Postcards for Haiti. As the organizers of Pecha Kucha Manila, we were asked by the Pecha Kucha Night HQ to create something for Haiti. The idea was to show postcards with parachutes and make them look like relief boxes. What you see are images that give people relief -- Hearts, Smileys etc., instead of [relief] goods
Coffee and Brainstorm
To start my day I usually go to a cafe to get my favorite hot mocha. It has become a ritual for me. After drinking coffee my mind starts "flying", like a blimp carrying a Ninja and a Pirate towards a seemingly alien brainstorm.
Plane vs Dove
Spot The Tiger is an independent project started by Michael Corbett-Reakes with help and support from Aisling Musgrove of Goldsmiths Debating Society. It's a place for debate and social innovation where culture not politics create unity.

Here's my contribution:
Should we have a referendum prior to going to war?
The idea was to present the two sides as origami pieces made from the referendum ballot. The paper plane represents the people who voted yes, while the paper dove represents those who voted no (and wants peace). To show the violent side of war, I drew the paper plane going on a head-on collision to the startled paper dove.
Avatar vs Altar
An illustration for one of the best local magazines here in the Philippines. The article was about James Cameron's Avatar and Rico Ilarde's Altar. The author was making a commentary on the difference between a big Hollywood film vs a Small Filipino Film.

The brief was to create 2 illustrations. The first illustration is Jake Sully looking down, while the second one shows his fingers fighting with Anton, the main character of Altar.
Visuals with Vision
I illustrated and designed these postcards for YoCard's Annual Visuals with Visions competition. It's an open call for creatives to design a postcard that communicates Filipino Pride. Our social design agency -- Ideals partnered with them for this. The competition will be running on our Oneline Platform.

The idea for this series was to shows objects connected to sight or vision. It shows people doing good things at the same time also looking like eyes.

Toast: Facebook Shapes & Statuses
This Artwork is available for sale as a Print.
This little Poster Project started when I saw that my Facebook friends have interesting status messages. I started with one and in a few days ended up with 6. I plan to make a few more and maybe distribute them as prints.

I've collected a few number of status messages from my Facebook friends and I'm just finding time to make them.

Friends in this set are Stefan Lucut, Lucia Palami, Jao Bautista, Caesar Barona, Lyndsey Rivera and Anna Canlas.
