artwork for a zine/exhibition themed on beatles lyrics......a brass band and lots of moustaches.....
I bought Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, not because it was by the Beatles, but just because I loved the cover of the album. I soon grew to love the songs almost as much as the cover artwork and I still like to imagine that there really is a band, perhaps made up of lonely old soldiers, who like to gather together on a Sunday afternoon to drink tea and play a marching tune. I’m certainly no Peter Blake but this is my homage to the song and the album.
