Take a Hike
A new painting I worked on this week...

Z is for ZOMBIE
Part of a Zombie show, my piece was invited to be part of the ZombieBOMB! Anthology series being published. With all the gore and blood, I'm glad I got to show a softer, cuter side of zombiehood.

Yee Haw!!
Another Acryla gouache piece for a new promotional mailer. I like my singing coyote...this image is also hanging out at Nahcotta Gallery in Portsmouth, NH.

Tweedle Dear & Tweedle Doll
My female interpretation of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. This piece will be at The Hive Galley in LA for their March show dedicated to Alice in Wonderland.

Sushi Time!
A personal project that will go on my next mailer. Delicious.
November 3
3 a.m.
This painting will be showing at West Side Arts Gallery in Providence during November and early Decemeber. Masks, chopped up people, and guitars appear in my work frequently and this baby has it all!
Birds and Flowers Surface Design
This Fall I am taking a surface design class and am really enjoying it. I deal with color and patterns so much in my own work that it seems only natural for me to expand that part of my portfolio and creativity. This was a floral, and my instructor wanted us to produce something that couldn't be done with a simple "repeat" function in the computer. I have seen a lot of illustrators doing motifs and surface design where there really isn't a single repeat or pattern, so I tried to work in that frame of mind while painting.

Illustration for Ed2010.com
This is for an article about editors having to make the transition to online publications and the digital era. It reproduced TINY on the site, but I am happy to say you could still read it pretty well. Woo!

Portrait of the Artist
This Artwork is available for sale as a Print.
I gave my students a portrait assignment in desaturated colors and wanted to try the same. I think many artists are guilty of making themselves look more attractive in self-portraits, but I definitely have no problem "uglying" myself up!

The Right To Bear Arms
Get It? GET IT? Featured at Nahcotta Gallery's Enormous Tiny Art Show in NH.
