I was in Detroit in January and we rented a fully renovated townhouse right across from Tiger Stadium and the house labeled 03150403 06 xl was at the end of the block. I took the same picture except it was 6 inches of snow on the ground.

It was something about that house being the last one standing on that block of land, that made you think-- wow! This must've been a really nice neighborhood at one point.

i met a lady who did a similar project in buffalo. very sad yet beautiful. it makes me wish i could buy them and turn them into funky studios, or reach out centers or something...
