RE) FRESH is a typographic experiment by Bram Vanhaeren, a message to celebrate Spring, the moment of the year where everyone feels a lot better, then few months earlier with the cold and snow. It's time to Refresh! And why not Refresh in Style?

Hello Society6
Hi everyone, a quick post to say hi and tell you we would love to stick around.
The community seems to be filled with crazy artist and very inspiring projects.
Here is a short biography about us and feel free to follow us.

Q.Who are we?
A. Tim & Bram Vanhaeren are both graphic designers based in Kapellen, Belgium

Tim is 21 years old and recently earned his bachelor's degree in Cross-Media Design. He's been in love with design since he discovered Photoshop back in 2003. His specialities ranges from photo-manipulation, digital art, web design to motion graphics and visuals. In his spare time he's running an electronic music blog Phase02.org, enjoying to spin records as a DJ at local parties and bigger clubs around Belgium and Netherlands. He's also been into Athletics since he was a little boy of 7 years old.

Bram is 19 years old and shares the same passion as his older brother. He's been developing his style since his first pen tool experiments in Illustrator about 5 years ago. Bram's style ranges from simple illustrations and typography to mixed media artwork. When he's not making art, Bram enjoys going out with friends, practice together with his brother for the next Athletics competition and he can't resist to spend his money on clothes and new fancy accessories.

They also run http://www.Wallpaperart.org, a blog constantly in search for the most incredible wallpaper art for your desktop. Wallpaperart aims to bring the art closer to the user by involving the artists through interviews, tutorials, contests and a lot more.

I was inspired by the music of Uffie - Hot chick. It's about a very hot girl who intimidate the boys with her looks, language and her attitude.

ABOUT
As some people know, I'm experimenting quite a lot lately and try to work next to my iMac to explore new things. This week I've been sketching and doodling around. I made this series of works about me, every word means quite a lot to me. I worked on A3 rough paper with 2B and 5B pencils, here are the pictures.

Saul Williams
The person I've been working around is the inspiring artist, Saul Williams a.k.a. Niggy Tardust. I've illustrated/sketched him because his work is mind blowing, dark and sometimes strange. For the portraits I've made,I have watched his performances, read his poems and listened to his songs. For the two portraits I made I chose the Song "Tao of now" Children of the night and "Skin of a drum" to base my drawings.
