”I am currently reading a book called, “My So-Called Freelance Life” by Michelle Goodman, which is admittedly written to appeal to young-professional women. That said, it’s got a ton of great information that has helped me out in my transition to being on my own. I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who is considering working for themselves. This quote is included in the book. Hustle, hustle, hustle!”

To enter the contest simply suggest a title for a new zine by posting it on the wall of my Facebook artist page. We’ll pick and use one of the suggestions—the author of that title will receive a free c...”

”The Boston Bacon & Beer Fest is coming up next weekend (April 24). The event was organized by Aaron Cohen of Eat Boston. I designed this poster as well as some shirts for the event. I’ll have a booth at the event slangin’ gear! (is that how the kids say it?)”

”I was reading an interview with Dustin Canalin in the March issue of Juxtapoz and I came across this quote. I really enjoyed the article. He talks about his graphic design eduction at an art school and how that translated into working for streetwear companies. He touches on the importance of being able to work with your hands and learning classic typography skills. I definitely recommend checking it out.”
